Hello! My name is Sara Nagy. I am an SLP and owner of Sandhill Speech and Language Services.
I am a Florida licensed and American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA) certified Speech-Language Pathologist. Like many people, I had limited knowledge regarding speech therapy until a loved one developed a communication difficulty. At the age of 17, I was thrust into the world of speech therapy when my father had a stroke. While attending his speech therapy sessions, I fell in love with the field. Since then, I have earned my Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Florida State University and my Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of South Florida. I have over 10 years of experience working in a variety of settings, which has only strengthened my passion for helping people of all ages become the best communicators they can be.
I have treated children, from preschool to high school, with varying needs and diagnoses, including articulation, fluency, expressive and receptive language delays, pragmatic language difficulties, Autism Spectrum Disorders, and Downs Syndrome. Additionally, I have expertise in treating adults and seniors who have cognitive, communication, and swallowing difficulties due to stroke, traumatic brain injury, and progressive neurological disease, such as Parkinson’s, Dementia, and ALS.
In my free time, I love spending time with my husband and 2 sons. We enjoy traveling, hiking, bird watching (especially the sandhill cranes), reading, and exploring the beautiful Florida waterways in our canoe.
Hello! My name is Julie Klein. I'm an SLPA here at Sandhill Speech and Language Services.
I'm licensed through the Florida Department of Health and received my Bachelor's of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of South Florida. During high school and throughout college, I had 3 years of experience working in childcares.
